SOUTH REGION BRONZE AND COPPER

A fantastic weekend of results, team spirit, positive attitudes and achieving  personal goals! 6 of our gymnasts travelled down to Dynamo School of Gymnastics to participate in the South Region Bronze and Copper Competition.

Full results are as follows:

Copper Age 9-11 years

Imogen - 7th on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 14th on Beam, 11th on Floor & 2nd Overall

Daisy - 11th on Vault, 24th on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 22nd on Floor & 10th Overall

Nicole - 3rd on Vault, 26th on Bars, 14th on Beam, 9th on Floor & 11th Overall

Sadie - 3rd on Vault, 18th on Bars, 27th on Beam, 2nd on Floor & 22nd Overall

Bronze Age 10-12 years

Lillie - 4th on Vault, 1st on Bars, 1st on Beam, 7th on Floor & 1st Overall

Keziah - 2nd on Vault, 18th on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 13th on Floor & 4th Overall

For the Bronze category there were two different age groups competing, and after 2 rounds of gymnastics the age groups are combined for the overall rankings to qualify for National finals. Keziah finished a very credible 10th in the combined overall rankings and Lillie finished 3rd meaning that she goes on to represent the South Region at National finals in December!
