PRE-SCHOOL GYMNASTICS

Our Pre-School sessions deliver fun classes for children aged 2 - 4. We want children to enjoy their first experience of the sport and our Pre-School sessions are designed to teach important skills including balance, co-ordination, speed and strength in a stimulating, fun and safe environment.

With a variety of Themes throughout the Term, gymnasts have the chance to learn basic Gymnastics skills as well as developing key motor skills. One week they could be jumping through the Jungle, walking the plank like a pirate or standing like a Scarecrow. Our Themes change every 2 weeks to allow children to get used to our Circuits and Warm ups and feel at ease during their sessions.

We offer two different Pre-School classes throughout the week, dependant on the age of your child.


Our Parent & Tot sessions are a great bridge between our Pay & Play sessions and our Independent structured sessions. This class is 45 minutes long, with a 15 minute Warm up which includes a song to get everyone moving and hand apparatus to practice our stretching and hand/eye co-ordination. Following on from this is a 15 minute Gymnastics based circuit on the Floor and then a 15 minute Free play in our Pit gym.

Our Independent sessions allow gymnasts to explore different apparatus circuits with our wonderful Pre-School staff, whilst you watch from our waiting room upstairs. This class is 45 minutes long, with a 15 minute Warm up which includes a song and the use of hand apparatus. Following on from this is a 15 minute circuit on the Floor and then another 15 minute circuit on an apparatus.

Class Timetable:

​Parent & Tot (2-3 years with an appropriate adult)

  • Monday 12:30pm - 1:15pm

  • Friday 12:30pm - 1:15pm

​

Independent Class* (3-4 years)

  • Monday 1:30pm - 2:15pm

  • Friday 1:30pm - 2:15pm & 2:30pm - 3:15pm

*Please note Parent/Guardians must stay on site during these sessions.

Class Prices:

  • Parent & Tot - £7.30 per session, payable termly in advance.

  • Independant Class - £7.80 per session, payable termly in advance.
